How to Send a Follow-Up on Signed Closing Documents to Borrower's Solicitor

To send a Follow-Up on Signed Closing Documents to the Borrower's Solicitor using an automated Communication:

  1. Open the Matter Communications Page
  2. Click on + New Communication
  3. Select the Borrower's Solicitor under Recipients
  4. Under Type you have two options:
    1. General Follow-Up Select Closing - 03 Follow-Up on Signed Documents for a general follow-up on the missing documents
    2. Follow-Up with Deficiency List - Select Closing - 03 Follow-Up on Signed Documents (With Deficiency List) for a follow-up containing a dynamically updated list of the missing documents. This list gets smaller as the signed documents are uploaded into the respective Upload Bins.
  5. Review the content and make any necessary changes to it
  6. Click on Send communication
