How to update the bank feed by uploading a CSV file
If you do not have the automated bank feed feature as part of your subscription or if a past transaction is missing in your bank feed, you can update the bank feed by uploading a CSV file.
To update the bank feed by uploading a CSV
- Log into your banking institution's online banking and browse the bank account of interest for the period of interest and chose the option to export to CSV.
- Save the CSV file downloaded from your online banking platform on a folder on your computer.
- Under Acounting, click on Bank Accounts, select the bank account of interest and click on the Bank Feed tab
- Click on the Import Transactions From Bank CSV button.
- Select the instituion and drag and drop the CSV file into the upload area
- Click on Import Transactions
This will result in importing the transactions on the CSV file into the Bank Feed. You shouldn't worry about the possibility of transactions getting duplicated as this would be caught in the Bank Feed Verification process.
