How to apply a payment to an invoice
To apply a payment to an invoice
- Browse the invoice's home page
- Click on Payments and select Add Payment

- Verify the source account, the destination account, and the payment amount, and click on Record Payment. Note that if there are funds available in the General Account to be applied to the invoice, both the source account and the destination account will be set to the General Account. If there are funds in both trust and general for the matter, you will be given a choice to select one as the source account.

- If the invoice is paid from trust, once the invoice is marked as paid, you will see a transfer from the trust account to the general account in the matter transactions page.
