How to Add a Principal to a Corporation

You should add any individual or corporation who has ever had any of the following roles as a Principal of the Corporation including past Principals:

  • Director
  • First Director
  • Incorporator
  • Officer
  • Shareholder


To add a Principal

  1. Open the Electronic Minute Book Form
  2. Click on the Principals tab
  3. Select whether the Principal you are adding is an individual or a corporation
  4. Search the database for the Principal you wish to add and if no results are found, enter the information of the Principal
  5. Under Past and present role(s) in Corporation enter any and all roles that the Principal has ever had in the corporation including past roles.
  6. Click on Save
