How to add a Seller in Private Mortgage Lending matter
When the mortgage funds are being advanced on a purchase, you can add the seller's information
The seller's information will be used in the 3-way document registration agreement and the seller's solicitor's information will be used in the undertaking to enforce the seller's solicitor's undertaking. Here is how to add a seller:
- Open the Closing Form
- Click on the General tab
- Ensure that the question "Is the mortgage being obtained on a purchase?" is answered with a yes.
- Click on the Sellers tab
- Select whether the Seller you are adding is an individual or a corporation
- Search for the Seller in the search box
- Select the Seller if the Seller is already in the database, otherwise click on "No results found. Create new."
- Click on the form and enter the required information
- Click on "Save and Close"
- To add another Seller, click on Add Another Seller at the top right of the screen and repeat the above steps
